I'm going with the open country atiii soon when i go up a few sizes. Stck with bfg at ko2. Both of the tires have a low rolling resistance which means you will be saving on a lot of fuel.
New toyo at3 tire, compete with bfg ko2, falken wildpeak and comes in 225/65/17!. The at3's are still new, but the at2's had a great reputation. Toyo's are also 13lbs lighter per tire.
I think these 2 suite my needs well as far as being capable for weekend wheeling (no rock crawling), fairly drivable on snow and ice and reasonably durable and quiet for a daily driver. Tried searching, but didn’t find much. Toyo at3's are far more quiet and perform about the same as bfg's. Ko2s aren't on my consideration list due to the price.

The open country r/t has large tread blocks, and wide channels. The cooper at3 xlt look good and they are a lot cheaper. I’m currently running bfg ko2’s.
On paper, the toyo open country a/t iii is appealing to us for a few reasons. Also bfg's have much better availability than the toyos. Bfg ko2 is better than which in various categories.
Have had ko2's on the last few jeeps and like them but they are only available in d rated (119/116s) in 275/60/20. The bfg's that came on my truck never really impressed me all that much. However, bfg at ko2 has larger tread.

No direct experience, but a good friend just replaced his ko2s on his 4runner with the new toyo at3. Toyo's tend to have less issues than bfg's over time, like road balance or cracking. The toyo at3 has been voted as one of the most reliable sets of tires on the market by customers.
It works better in the mud than the a/t3, and performs very well in deeper, loose snow. For your vehicle’s external motion system to function correctly, all. S and c shapes are not making too much difference.
